Guirec POULIQUEN (Besançon, France, 1979) is a french art and fine art photographer based in St Barthélemy,
who decided recently to exhibit his art work internationally.
After graduating in Law (Panthéon – Assas), he studied Art, History (Panthéon Sorbonne, Paris IV) and History
of Art in Lyon (Lumière University). Then, he worked in private finance to be able to travel around the world
and realize artistic projects, following his visions.

By the end of 2015, after long travels, he decided to have a break on a caribbean island… Finally, he settled
down in St Barthélemy as a professional photographer and kept going on with artistic projects.
The St Barthélemy project mainly consists in high view point series of pictures.
Its purpose is to take advantage from the morphology of the island to get rare angles and, working with the
secrets of light combined with advanced photographic techniques, to capture anticipated or unexpected seashore
Each picture is designed as a painting.
