NATURAL HISTORY

Rosa virginiana

The virginia rose is a hardy rose native to the southeastern United States. It is now often cultivated in cottage style gardens and wildflower meadow gardens and is tolerant of poor soils and cold. It blooms with pink flowers loved by pollinators and yields edible rose hips.
